Privacy policy
This notice explains how Pack Solution collects and uses your personal data, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
The data controller is Ramofy Ltd, trading as Pack Solution, Unit 2, 50 Derby Street, Manchester M8 8HF (company no. 11749260). For any privacy question or request, email sales@packsolution.co.uk.
What we collect
- Order and account details: name, company, billing and delivery address, email, phone number, order history.
- Payment information: processed by our payment providers; we do not see or store your full card details.
- Communications: emails, calls and messages you send us.
- Website use: device and browser information, pages viewed, how you arrived at our site (for example a search engine, an advert or an AI assistant link) and similar information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Marketing preferences: whether you have agreed to receive marketing emails.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To process, deliver and support your orders, returns and account — performance of a contract.
- To keep records for tax and accounting — legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud, keep our website secure and improve our products and service — legitimate interests.
- To send marketing emails, only if you have subscribed — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
- For analytics and advertising cookies — your consent, given through our cookie banner.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under contract and only for these purposes:
- Shopify (our e-commerce platform) and our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal and card processors).
- Delivery companies: Royal Mail, Evri and DPD.
- Analytics and advertising: Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), where you have consented through our cookie banner.
- Review invitations: Trustpilot, which may email you after your order to ask for a review.
- Our accountants, professional advisers and authorities where the law requires.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision or approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the shop (for example your cart and checkout). With your consent we also use analytics and advertising cookies. You can accept or decline these in our cookie banner and change your choice at any time. We also store non-personal information in your browser about how you reached our site (for example the search engine or campaign), which is attached to your order so we know which channels work.
How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required for tax. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email sales@packsolution.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
Our website and checkout use encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it.
